[ MAFIA AU ] wayne's manor; tim's room.

being the bodyguard of the heir of a powerful mafia boss was starting to take its toll on him. this was the tenth time, in the 5 hours of sleep he was supposed to have, that he jumped in his sleep after the most meaningless of the sounds.
it was time, anyway. they had a job to do in 2 hours. he already had planned to get ready around this hour. a shower, a change of clothes (he was starting to get as habit the sleeping in his suit -- aside from the jacket and shoes obviously -- for how tired he is getting everytime he comes home).
first thing first. he gets up from the couch where he sleeps and heads to the door of his protégé. he knocks slowly, not wanting to make too much noise, before entering even though he had no answer.
Tim is still sleeping. he walks over him sitting on a chair next to the bed.
he stares at the man's face for a bit, before putting his face in his hands, trying to wash away his tiredness.
he had been doing this job for 2 months now. and every day it was getting more and more difficult. ]
