[ that day Kon has learned that even if you are in a weird mood, villains don't get more sympathetic toward you and decide to skip a day of doing misfits or trying to rule the world because of that.

some weirdo had taught him that, as he wreaked chaos this morning in Smallville because he was... bored. yes, that's what that that guy told Kon when he asked him why wouldn't he stop being an idiot and simply surrender because he was obviously going to lose. "I'm bored!" he answered, thing that irked Conner even more and made he almost forgot who he was the heir of.

he's flied right into his room from the window when he came back home; not exactly in the mood for talking with Ma or having Krypto slob all over his face and he isn't really hungry either. he will greet her later for sure, so that she won't get too worried, but in that moment he really does not want to think about anything or anyone.

Conner hasn't got one of this mood swing in a while -- they used to be more common back in the days anticipating his death, and he definitely has passed a whole period of "I-Hate-Myself" before -- which makes the whole thing even more aggravating for him. he feels like talking to someone; someone who can understand what the hell is going on in his head better than himself, but the only person that he can think of is Clark and, really, he isn't going to fly to Metropolis to bother Clark just because he is feeling down.

he lies down on his bed for a bit, slamming a pillow on his face as to shut down his thoughts, but then --

a spark.

it was so obvious, but for some reason he did not think of him fast enough. a milliseconds or two to get his shirt back on and then he is already flying away from Smallville directed to Gotham. ]

Tim...?

[ he totally feels like a thief in that moment. and he probably should, since he's just entered Tim's house by tampering with the window through his TTK. but Tim wasn't answering his knocks and thought that maybe he was sleeping or something. in that moment he wondered if he is just desperate or completely confused. not that it matters because Tim isn't there, he can't hear his heartbeat anywhere in the house or in a few miles radius for that matter.

Kon flops on Tim's couch, adding "most stupid person in the world" as his list of reason of why he should be feeling bad.

What was he expecting to do anyway? Tell Tim how crappy his day has been while watching Glee and eating popcorn? Or maybe cry on his shoulder like a little kid and expect Tim to be completely comprehensive and totally not annoyed by his sudden presence at all? Not like Tim isn't already all tired from his duty or anything, right?

Kon doesn't move from the couch yet... just a few seconds, hoping that Tim would come here before his woe would get the better out of him and force him to go back home, because...

he really wants to see his best friend right now. ]

[When Tim comes back from his patrol through the window, he notices that it's been tampered with, just slightly. So he creeps into his apartment, keeping his uniform on, and makes his way to where there seems to be some noise in his living room. Coming to stand behind his couch, he notices that Kon is apparently the one breaking into his apartment, and crosses his arms.]

Kon, why didn't you call? I could have cut my patrol a little short.
