Kon and Tim at some High Society party or something where Tim dragged Kon there to make him company.

I just wanted an excuse to play Kon in a suit, okay.

[Tim and Conner are standing just inside the entrance of the large room the party is being held in. It's a few minutes before the party is set to begin -- only one of two guests have shown up already and Bruce is seeing to them. In the meantime, Tim is drilling Conner on proper high society party etiquette.]

And don't try to ask the caterers for champagne. I've already told them not to give you any. [Tim narrows his eyes at Conner at the idea of what he might do.]

For the fifteenth time, Tim, I'm not going to get drunk for the first time in a party where your reputation might be at risk, don't worry.

[He starts out stern but ends with a slight smile. He is grateful to Conner for coming, even if he might mess up horribly.]

I just might... this thing is driving me crazy, how do you do it?

You did it wrong. [A small sigh, then Tim is pulling it undone and pulling Kon closer by the two ends. It only takes him a few seconds to retie it and then he focuses on fixing Kon's collar.]

Yeah, thanks... [ though the issue there wasn't if he was wearing it right or not for him... It was wearing it in general ]

Are you sure Bruce is okay with me being here? [ he says, after spotting him throw a quick annoyed glare at him for the third time ] He doesn't exactly look too happy about it...

Don't worry about it. He's fine with you being here. [He made sure, he doesn't say.]

From the way he's looking at me as if I could light the whole place on fire by just staring at it, I really don't think so…

[ he tucks at his tie a bit more, it was starting to become some sort of nervous tick ]

I mean, i guess the point is that I could if I would, but I don't-- [ heavy sigh to calm himself down ] Geez, this is stressing me down already and we didn't even start! I better calm down before the stress gets worse and I give a reason for my other DNA cells to give in and start going bald.

[Tim checks his very expensive watch.]

It's eight o'clock now. Everyone is going to be fashionably late, but the guests should start trickling in soon enough.

Why did you think it was a good idea to bring me here, anyway?

It's been a long week and I didn't want to go through this without reinforcements. [He gives Kon a sheepish smile to make sure he doesn't get mad.]

If by reinforcement you mean a tall dude scared of even breathing next to you, I guess I'm doing a great job then.

[Tim doesn't make any effort to introduce Conner during his conversation. He'll wait to do that until Kon's not freaking out behind him. Their conversation is short and boring -- full of business speculation and fake smiles. Thankfully it ends when the man sees that Bruce is now free and scampers off with a smile.]

[Tim's smile drops as soon as the man is out of sight.] Ugh, I hate these things. I don't know how Bruce finds the motivation to organize them so often.

Shut up, Conner. [His lip quirks in an attempt to hold back a smile.]

There should be something in these drinks that makes them talk that way, we should investigate, chum.

Trust me, they're just as boring when they're not drinking expensive champagne.
