[Today is the day for A BEACH TRIP. That's right. Fun in the sun, beach volleyball, forgetting to reapply sunscreen, pretending to drown, throwing sand on sleeping people.

Or, if you're Tim, sitting under a beach umbrella with a book and a can of zesti. It's all very exciting.]

[In Jaime's case, he and Paco were playing beach volleyball. It was the most intense game ever! Until, you know, the inevitable came and Jaime had to go hunt down the volleyball while Paco left to go make-out with Brenda.

Passing by Tim, Jaime stops by and gestures towards the ball that's somehow behind Tim.]

Hey, um... can I get that?

[The last person Tim's expecting to see when he turns around is Blue Beetle. Out of costume. Thankfully, he's trained enough not to show too much surprise. Instead, he lets his expression show a teasing smile.]

So you're the one who cut my zesti's life short? [He holds up the can and wags it a bit, showing him how the top is completely covered in sand.]

[This guy looks really familiar, but Jaime can't really pin where they've met before. Hm.

Upon seeing the zesti can, Jaime can't help snorting.] My bad, man. I'll totally pay for a new can later.

Riiight... sorry about that. [Jaime kneels down and picks up the ball. He's about to leave and resume playing, but... he doesn't see Paco anywhere.

Trust his best friend to ditch him at a moment like this. SIGH.]

I think my practice might have to wait for another day.
